Going beyond the CEFR descriptors, featured speaker Denis Cousineau will lead a session on how to enable all learners to establish pathways to progress — especially in oral skills — by creating social confidence. Denis’s session, entitled Le CECR : une pédagogie moderne et repensée (The CEFR: An Updated, Rethought Pedagogy), will also help participants rethink action-oriented tasks and redefine language learning success. Denis Cousineau is a national FSL-CEFR expert and consultant. He taught French Immersion and Core French for 32 years in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB). He was also the director of the DELF centre for the Board, which has tested almost 15,000 students over the past decade.
Register now for only $125 (CASLT and BCATML members) for the entire conference.
