Brodhagen recognized for maintaining Stratford Municipal Golf Course Stratford Beacon Herald Kyle Brodhagen thinks of the Stratford Municipal Golf Course as family, which is fitting since the course’s general manager did much of his growing up there. For about five years, Brodhagen’s parents would drop him off at the course before they went to work, and then pick him up on the way home in the afternoon. Brodhagen would play multiple rounds with friends under the watchful eye of members — many of whom are still there. “The members make this place what it is,” he said. “It’s a big family, everyone gets along and is happy all the time.
