Northam Launches Clean Energy Virginia to Push for Investment Virginia Business Daily Clean Energy Virginia launched this month to help the state meet its goal of having all of the state’s electricity generated from carbon-free sources by encouraging investment in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Gov. Ralph Northam used the initiative to expand on an executive order that set statewide targets and goals for clean energy, the Commonwealth’s website reported. He launched Clean Energy Virginia after the Virginia Clean Economy Act became law along with legislation promoting solar, wind and energy efficiency. READ MORE
