Cuomo recently announced the largest combined clean energy solicitations ever issued in the U.S., seeking up to 4,000 megawatts of renewable capacity to combat climate change. “This solicitation is exactly what the U.S. economy needs right now. It is also further proof that, despite the economic hit of COVID-19, the offshore wind industry is not losing ground. In fact it is gaining momentum in establishing a blue economy and demonstrates the resilience of this burgeoning U.S. industry.
