AHLA releases standard safety guidelines for hotel guests Business Travel News The American Hotel & Lodging Association as part of its Safe Stay health and safety initiative has released five key recommendations on ways hotel guests can travel more safely. The guidelines for hotels and guests, called the Safe Stay Guest Checklist, include requiring face coverings in all indoor public spaces and practicing social distancing in all common areas; choosing contactless options where available, including online reservations, check-ins and payments; considering daily room cleaning only if necessary, and asking the hotel about such options; requesting contactless room service delivery; and refraining from traveling if you have, or recently had, any symptoms of Covid-19 or contact with anyone diagnosed with Covid-19.
