Starbucks furthers commitment to sustainability goals by joining Transform to Net Zero Global Coffee Report Starbucks announced in January of 2020 a multi-decade aspiration to be resource-positive, giving more than it takes from the planet. The announcement included science-based preliminary target reductions of carbon, water and waste by 2030.
