Substantial townhouse development proposed for Mississauga Insauga Those who have been clamouring for more low-rise housing in the city might be pleased to hear that a fairly substantial townhouse development has been proposed for Mississauga. According to a recent Planning and Development Committee report, home builder Mattamy Ltd. has submitted an application to allow the construction of 119 townhomes on the west side of Ninth Line, just north of Eglinton Avenue West. If approved, the development will consist of 15 dual frontage townhomes, 63 condominium townhomes, 17 street townhomes and 24 back-to-back townhomes on private condominium roads and a new public road that will connect to Ninth Line.
