No jury trials in NC until August at the soonest, Chief Justice Cheri Beasley announces Winston-Salem Journal North Carolina courts are opening in June, but it won’t be the same as before the COVID-19 shutdown, N.C. Supreme Court Chief Justice Cheri Beasley said Thursday.
