Landmark Lake Erie case continues Toledo Blade After hearing arguments for nearly seven hours last Friday, Senior U.S. District Court Judge James Carr adjourned proceedings in a landmark Lake Erie lawsuit until the end of this week. The case, which has major ramifications for area farmers, will pick up where it left off on Thursday. The time is subject to change based on the schedule of attorneys arguing it, Judge Carr said.
