In the face of a dwindling population of bees, one of the natural pollination agents, an artificial agent can help solve the pollination problem — soap bubbles.
Eijiro Miyako and Xi Yang from Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology have published their findings in iScience, Volume 23, Issue 6. The paper, titled "Soap Bubble Pollination," observes the biological and physicochemical properties of soap bubbles. These characteristics apparently make bubbles a potential artificial pollination agent.
