Georgia State University College of Education & Human Development faculty members Brian Williams, Nancy Schafer, and Diane Truscott have established a new project to provide access to quality science instruction at Title I elementary schools in Atlanta. Williams, Schafer, and Truscott will design and implement a new professional development model called the Sci-Bridge Project for teachers and teachers-in-training that combines best practices in science education with teaching methods that are most effective for students from diverse, low-income communities.
