Shipt partnering on Medicare grocery delivery AL.com Shipt is partnering with a healthcare provider to make sure that the COVID-19 pandemic doesn’t make issues such as acquiring food and medication worse for Medicare Advantage members. The Birmingham-based same-day delivery service is working with WellCare, which helps provide services through Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and Medicare prescription drug plans. Low-income and special needs plan members in select WellCare plans will receive free, monthly Shipt memberships through the rest of the year, covering more than 200,000 people across 23 states.
