ONLINE DIRECTOR'S EDUCATION & ACCREDITATION PROGRAM (DEAP) SESSIONS:
• September 23 - 25, 2020 (starts at 11:00am Eastern) This program is best suited for those wishing to take the program, who reside in the West.
• October 13, 20 and 27, 2020 (1 module per week)
The Chartered Governance Institute of Canada (CGIC) will be holding virtual DEAP sessions in the coming months via Zoom. This is a short, intensive, and effective way for you to have a good insight into the role of a Director of a board while providing you with the knowledge in key areas related to that role. Global eCommunity Steering Group Looking for Volunteers
The Chartered Governance Institute's eCommunity has been operating for over six months now. There are now three communities, with the largest, the Open Forum having over 3,100 members and nearly 50 discussion threads. Topics have ranged from board portals, to AGM issues to crisis management. The time has now come to take the eCommunity to the next level.
CGI is looking for two ACIS/FCIS members from the Canada division to volunteer for the Steering Group. Learn more about the eCommunicty Steering Group here.
