Hanover using Hydro money to fund several projects Steinbach Online Council for the Rural Municipality of Hanover has decided how to use some of its Hydro funding for 2020. Each year, the municipality receives money through Manitoba Hydro’s Community Development Initiative (CDI) Program. This CDI funding program was developed to provide direct benefits to municipalities in the vicinity of Bipole III facilities. For 2020, Hanover is expecting to receive about $176,000 in CDI funding.
