USDA awards Oak Harbor grant for water project Fremont News-Messenger Additional federal funding is on the way for the village's Church Street sewer separation project, Oak Harbor Mayor Quinton Babcock said. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, announced last week the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Rural Development program has awarded $2,392,000 to the Village of Oak Harbor. The funds will be used to construct new wastewater collection lines and replace water lines to improve access to safe drinking water, according to a release from the senator's office. READ MORE
