You may already be asking, how on earth can London be a forest? It's a dense urban space packed with high rise buildings, roads full of cars, building sites and people basically living on top of one another. Many properties in London don't even have a garden. In spite of all this, the UN has defined London as a forest and the Forestry Commission supports this view, calling London the biggest urban forest in the world.
