Applying instructional science to online learning By Ruth Clark Little did we anticipate in January of 2020 that by the summer about 1.2 billion students would abruptly shift into e-learning. In 2018 approximately 40% of all workforce learning hours were delivered via technology – a mix of self-paced and virtual live-instructor events.
