Members of law enforcement and elected officials in Mount Morris, New York are holding up a string of recent incidents and arrests involving a village man as evidence that New York’s bail reform laws, which went into effect in January, are not working. Justin M. Gledhill, 22, was arrested four times between July 26 and Aug. 10 on charges related to entering or trying to enter private residences without permission. Mount Morris police officers have received calls or complaints about Gledhill at least 15 times since July 17, said Chief Jeff Wiedrick.
