2020 ASA Safety Award nomination deadline extended Is your ASA-member distributor or manufacturing company running a top-flight safety operation? If yes, you still have time to apply for the 2020 ASA Safety Award. The application deadline has been extended to Sunday, Aug. 30. The annual ASA Safety Award is a program based on OHSA lost work data. Awarded on an annual basis, it serves to highlight those companies that go above and beyond in the area of worker safety. The award is designed to elevate the awareness of the importance of safety in all aspects of the PHCP-PVF industry and also to recognize the ASA members that have had the lowest incident rate of non-fatal injuries and illnesses throughout the previous year. Three awards each will be presented to manufacturers and wholesaler/distributors for a total of six awards. Awards will be based on each company’s total case incident rate (TCIR) for 2019. The award-winners will be recognized at NETWORK2020 Virtual on Oct. 8, and the physical award will be mailed to your company headquarters.
