Adults with cognitive impairment after stroke represent a large population who have few options for treatment with evidence of producing changes in everyday life. The aims of this symposium at the ACRM Virtual Conference are to present the theoretical and evidence bases, along with pilot data, for a promising new method for improving cognitive function in everyday situations in this population. The new method combines two approaches with large bodies of evidence supporting their efficacy and mechanisms of action.
