EPA draft sees no need for action on perc 'at this time' National Clothesline The Environmental Protection Agency released its draft risk evaluation for perchloroethylene, continuing a review process that began several years ago under the Toxic Substances Control Act. Perc was 1 of 10 chemicals EPA chose for review in December 2016. Being on the list does not mean EPA intends to ban perc or even further regulate it.
