TMPA — VOICING THE CONCERNS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT TMPA This type of proposed legislation will understandably be concerning to our members. Across the country, we are seeing knee-jerk legislation in response to the tragic death of George Floyd. One example is a reform bill in Colorado that was rushed into law, and is now driving officers out of the state, and out of the profession. For several weeks now, the government affairs team at TMPA has been talking with legislators and the Governor, discussing the reform movement, and voicing your concerns. Those meetings have been productive and positive.
