Brokers, watch out for fake Finra site Barron's A slip of the index finger could spell cybertrouble for brokers. An imposter Finra website has appeared, the self-regulator for the brokerage industry warned recently, as ThinkAdvisor reports. It’s another example of the cyberthreats lurking to trip up brokers and advisors. The fake website (www.finnra.org) has an extra “n” in its domain name, but it’s almost an exact copy of Finra’s own site (www.finra.org) and contains a link to a registration site that Finra said is not legitimate.
