Gooding launches online-only auction scheduled for August ClassicCars.com Gooding & Company has launched an online-only auction platform called Geared Online, which will offer remote bidding plus allow potential buyers to inspect the collector cars first-hand prior to their sales. The inaugural event begins August 3 and continues through August 7, with the catalog going online July 27. The Gooding online sale, like others being held by major auction companies, is being conducted because of pandemic concerns that make crowded public auctions too risky until the infection danger has passed.
