Not until 2024, predicts United CEO The Points Guy Speaking during the Chicago-based carrier’s third quarter earnings call on Thursday, United CEO Scott Kirby said he does not anticipate air travel to return in earnest until there is a widely available vaccine late next year or in early 2022.
