Newest Cape Breton golf course opening delayed until end of July The Chronicle Herald Golfers will have to wait a little bit longer before they can tee off at Cabot Cape Breton’s newest golf course in Inverness. The course, which will be known as The Nest, will not open on July 1 as previously expected and finishing touches are anticipated to be completed in time for the course to open by the end of July. “There are still a couple of hoops to jump through,” said Andrew Alkenbrack, general manager of Cabot Cape Breton. “The course is in good shape, it’s really starting to come to life, but we have a little bit of bunker work that is a specialty role.” READ MORE
