Extreme temperatures can be of concern for workers exposed to heat over the course of a workday. Chief Operating Officer with Safe Work Manitoba Jamie Hall gives some pointers on staying safe during the heat. "It's important to take frequent breaks and drink lots of cool beverages. Water is the best. Those rest breaks will help you be aware of your surroundings and how the heat is affecting you. You can also make sure you're wearing light clothing, light coloured clothing, or loose fitted clothes. If you're indoors, you should make sure there are fans and air movement."
