One of the industries hit hard by the business shutdown has been real estate.
In March, Gov. Tom Wolf deemed real estate a non-life sustaining business, forcing the transfer of property to stop.
“In Pennsylvania, there have been extremely limited circumstances that you can show a property in-person to to a prospective buyer — only if a buyer is under contract on their prior home or gave a binding notice to their landlord prior to March 18,†explained Kristyn Benedict Martin, of Re/Max Associates Realty Group in Waynesboro.
