The heart team often disagreed with the interventional cardiologist's treatment recommendations for people with multivessel coronary artery disease, one center found. Virtual heart teams disagreed on treatment course for 30.3% of 237 cases on review of the original treating interventional cardiologist's decision between coronary artery bypass grafting, percutaneous coronary intervention and medical therapy alone, according to a team led by Michael Tsang, MD, MSc, of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
